An Introduction to the Data Coordination Unit, an Academic Data Coordinating Center

Data Coordinating Centers (DCC) play a critical role in the design, implementation, analysis and dissemination of clinical trials. Through thoughtful collaborations, a DCC contributes to innovation and developing new approaches to clinical research. They provide collaborative leadership, ensure efficient data procurement, and promote data accuracy. This presentation will introduce the audience to the Data Coordination Unit (DCU), a DCC at MUSC who specializes in large, multicenter clinical trials.

Clinical Neurobiology Laboratory: How can we help you?

The Clinical Neurobiology Laboratory is a CLIA / CAP accredited laboratory providing clinical and research services to a wide array of clients. Our testing menu includes abused drugs and biomarkers of drug use. For items not on our menu, we will send the sample to the main hospital laboratory for analysis.  Additionally, our lab routinely collects, stores and ships samples to other laboratories for a variety of sponsored projects.
